Clinician
Jeremy Boynton joins GE Family Services as an LPC Clinician working with adults, youth, couples, parents, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and more.
Jeremy joins Partners Behavioral Health Corporation as a licensed LPC clinician. He believes therapy is most effective when it feels both supportive and purposeful. His approach is warm, conversational, and collaborative, while also being direct when it's needed. Drawing from evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, Jeremy integrates practical skill-building with deeper, insight-oriented work. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, struggling in your relationships, or seeking a greater understanding of yourself, his goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where healing, growth, and meaningful change can occur.
Jeremy enjoys working with youth, adults, couples, parents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, life transitions, trauma, and men's issues. He has a particular passion for supporting men in engaging with therapy and building a space where emotional, relational, and personal concerns can be explored openly without judgment.
Born and raised in Utqiaġvik (formerly Barrow) Jeremy lived there until he was eleven, then moved to Fairbanks, where he went through high school and then into college. He earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Biochemistry, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. That scientific foundation eventually carried him to Portland, Oregon, where he completed his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University, with coursework in family therapy, couples therapy and play therapy.
Since then, Jeremy has worked as an inpatient therapist at a subacute youth facility, and in community mental health as a youth and family therapist. Jeremy draws from a range of evidence-based practices and interventions depending on what fits you best, including: Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered, Adlerian, Ecosystemic, Structural/Strategic Family Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Sandtray, and MATCH. He is also familiar with the work of John Gottman, Ph.D., developer of the Gottman Method for couples and married couples as well as Terry Real, Ph.D., developer of Relational Life Therapy.

Outside the office, you can find Jeremy reading a therapy book to sharpen his practice, cooking, working on a craft or woodworking project, or out on one of Fairbanks' beautiful lakes and rivers.
