Liz Tracy is a pre-licensed clinician at GE Family Services, a division of Partners Behavioral Health Corporation, where she provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Based in Anchorage, Liz sees clients both in person and via telehealth, offering flexible access to those throughout Alaska. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and a Master of Education in the Teaching of Individuals with Emotional Disturbances from Virginia Commonwealth University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Grand Valley State University.

Liz’s clinical work is deeply influenced by her dual background in mental health and education. She has spent years supporting individuals with emotional and behavioral challenges in diverse settings, including rural Alaskan villages, urban school districts, and international classrooms in the United Arab Emirates and South Korea. Her professional journey reflects a core commitment to inclusion, empathy, and culturally responsive care.

A trauma-informed practitioner, Liz works with survivors of complex trauma, individuals with disabilities, and those navigating neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD. She believes in supporting not only the individual in therapy, but also the caregivers, family members, and educators surrounding them—recognizing that healing often happens in relationship and community. Her experience designing inclusive educational environments helps her understand how emotional and behavioral health intersect with learning, development, and identity.

Liz is known for her warmth, grounded presence, and ability to create a safe, validating space for her clients. Whether working with a teen navigating anxiety, a parent overwhelmed by a child’s diagnosis, or an adult seeking to reclaim their sense of self, she brings deep listening and respect to every session. Her work draws from evidence-based modalities while maintaining a flexible, person-centered approach that honors each client’s lived experience.

In addition to her clinical work, Liz is an active advocate for destigmatizing mental health and special education. She pursues ongoing professional development and remains committed to learning the most current, inclusive practices in the mental health field.

Outside the office, Liz is energized by Alaska’s wilderness. She enjoys hiking, backcountry camping, skiing at Hilltop, and ice skating in the winter. These outdoor pursuits, along with her global perspective and lived experience, bring a sense of balance, resilience, and hope to her work with clients.
