Miriam Mockett joins Greentree Behavioral Health as a case manager. Based in Anchorage, she serves clients both in-person at the Anchorage office and via telehealth. Miriam helps clients navigate barriers to care, connect them to resources, and helps them learn to advocate for themselves.
Miriam Mockett joins Greentree Behavioral Health as a case manager. Based in Anchorage, she serves clients both in-person at the Anchorage office and via telehealth. With her steady personality, Miriam helps clients from all walks of life break down barriers to care, connect to community resources, apply for aid, navigate through the health care system, and coaches them through difficult times.
As a student completing her degree in fine arts, Miriam is also passionate in the positive effects of art in mental health care and has helped lead multiple art therapy groups for GE Family Services. With experience from her both her personal and professional life supporting people with physical and mental health challenges, Miriam brings a calm and levelheaded approach to her work, an ability that helps her guide clients through difficult situations with ease.
In her free time outside of work Miriam enjoys learning and perfecting every art or craft she is able to get her hands on, watercolor and oil painting, enjoying the beautiful Alaskan outdoors, baking, and spending time with her family.
