LPC Intern
Sarah Mauldin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Intern at GE Family Services who sees children, adults, families, military families, blended families and couples in person in Anchorage and telehealth services in Alaska. She specializes in children, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma. Using CBT, DBT, Play Therapy and EDMR she seeks to provide therapy that is solution based as well as client led.
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Intern at GE Family Services who sees children, adults, families, military families, blended families and couples in person in Anchorage and telehealth services in Alaska. She specializes in child/adolescents, anxiety, play therapy, substance abuse, military families and working with families during separation or divorce. Sarah seeks to work with each individual client using solution focused and client led modalities.
Sarah comes to GE Family Services with decades of life experience as a woman, mother, wife, educator, member of a military family in multiple roles. Serving and volunteering in many capacities she offers a wide lense of exposure, empathy and wisdom combined with her schooling and formal training. Sarah will complete her Masters in School Counseling and Masters in Mental Health Clinician from Walden University in February 2027. She currently holds a bachelor’s in business and a master’s in education from Texas Tech University. Sarah will be pursuing further trainings and certifications in play therapy, substance abuse and EDMR expanding her expertise to better support her clients.
Outside of work her favorite places to be at home are with her husband and children and outside in nature. She loves to hike, laugh, love and being present in the moment. Originally born in Colorado, the mountains in Alaska feed her spirit with peace and beauty. Sarah has personally experienced an abundance of joy and many moments of hard that have both brought a beautiful, filled life that she cherishes with gratitude. She hopes to bring her clients healing and peace in her therapeutic practice.
