Intake Specialist

Jade Miller joins GE Family Services as an intake specialist.  She is thrilled to help guide new clients on their first steps to find healing.

Hi, I’m Jade, and I’m excited to join the team as an Intake Specialist! My professional journey has been centered around helping others navigate challenging moments and connecting people with the support and resources they need.

My background includes experience in the behavioral health and substance use field, where I have had the opportunity to work alongside individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating welcoming, respectful, and compassionate first points of contact for people seeking support. I believe that the intake process is more than collecting information—it is often the beginning of someone’s journey toward meaningful change, and I value being able to make that first interaction feel comfortable and supportive.

Throughout my career and education, I have developed a strong appreciation for empathy, communication, advocacy, and meeting people where they are. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals feel heard and respected while making sure they are connected with the appropriate next steps in their care.

Outside of work, I enjoy getting lost in creative hobbies, and finding simple ways to slow down and enjoy the people and moments that matter most. I’m a lifelong learner and enjoy exploring psychology, human behavior, and the many different experiences that shape who we become.
